Our Blissful team is growing! In an effort to serve even more teachers and provide them with the resources they need, we are looking to hire a new Curriculum Director AND Curriculum Designer.

CURRICULUM DIRECTOR

POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary purpose of this position is to work alongside Christina in creating lower elementary (K-2) resources that are engaging, hands-on, and rigorous. The Curriculum Director will be responsible for overseeing the planning, content creation, and management of all curricular resources and those involved in the process of creating resources. This role is a part-time position with the ability to work from home. Only applicants in the United States are eligible to apply.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires someone who is highly organized, has leadership qualities, is a creative thinker, and has a strong understanding of K-2 standards in order to create high-quality resources for students. 

Includes the following, but not limited to:

  • Creating content for K-2 activities and resources
  • Creating a content calendar and overseeing follow-through of the calendar 
  • Planning and facilitating regular curriculum team meetings
  • Reviewing all student resources for quality, design, and accuracy
  • Managing and supporting curriculum designers

REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree and teaching license
  • At least 3 years experience teaching K-2
  • Vast knowledge of CCSS standards and objectives
  • Experience creating original resources and activities for students
  • Ability to learn new programs quickly 
  • Reliable internet and computer access is a must
  • Willingness to be part of a positive team and learn

CURRICULUM DESIGNER

POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary purpose of this position is to work alongside Christina and the Curriculum Director in creating lower elementary (K-2) printable and digital resources that are engaging, hands-on, and rigorous. This role is a part-time position with the ability to work from home. Only applicants in the United States are eligible to apply.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires someone who is highly organized, creative, and has a strong understanding of K-2 standards in order to create high-quality resources for students. You will team with the Curriculum Director to design created content in the form of printable and digital resources.

Includes the following, but not limited to:

  • Designing K-2 student/teacher resources making certain the content and design is engaging yet age-appropriate
  • Proofreading content for accuracy and errors
  • Cooperating with team members
  • Creating a project calendar and follow-through of the calendar 
  • Possible design of social media images

SKILLS & ABILITIES

The perfect candidate has the following strengths and skills:  

  • A creative eye for design
  • Proficient knowledge of Google apps
  • Familiarity with age-appropriate resources/standards for grades K-2
  • Creative, organized, detail orientated, efficient and self-starting
  • Proficient with PowerPoint and Adobe
  • Strong editing/proofreading skills
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree and teaching license
  • At least 3 years experience teaching K-2
  • Experience creating original resources and activities for students
  • Proficient with technology, including experience working with Google and Microsoft programs (specifically PowerPoint), and the ability to learn new programs quickly 
  • Reliable internet and computer access
  • Willingness to be part of a positive team and learn
