Videos about the Science of Reading

In this post, I share information and video replays from five different trainings I have done on the Science of Reading. You’ll find videos on how to effectively use a sound wall, phoneme-grapheme word mapping, how to choose and use decodable texts, effective word study instruction, structured literacy centers aligned to the science of reading, and effective phonemic awareness instruction. These videos provide you with information and resources to help you bring more SoR-aligned instruction to kindergarten, first and second-grade students.

Recently, I hosted a series of training webinars on different topics related to the science of reading. I was thrilled to see the amount of interest you all had in these topics! So many of you took time out of your day to attend the live trainings! Many, MANY more of you requested access to the replays. It is wonderful to see that there are so many of you who are motivated to learn more about the science of reading!

To better help you, I wanted to create one place to post all the information I shared in that week of training. In this post, you will find videos on how to effectively use a sound wall, phoneme-grapheme word mapping, how to choose and use decodable texts, effective word study instruction, and structured literacy centers aligned to the science of reading. In addition to the replays, you’ll get information about SoR-aligned resources and downloadable freebies that support the information shared in the videos.
